Fellowship Opportunities

Andrew Ministries- This is a “friendship ministry” welcoming those who are becoming members at Resurrection. We will introduce them to new friends and neighbors and serve as shepherds in their new church home.

Ladies’ Monthly Luncheon Fellowship- This group has a vision to promote cohesiveness among the ladies of our congregation in a social setting. The goal is to offer ladies an opportunity to fellowship with other ladies and thereby share experiences and develop a small circle of Christian friends to rely on. All ages are invited to join the group on the second Friday of each month for lunch. Reservations are requested and you may do so on the sign up sheet on the patio. A different restaurant is chosen each month. Each person orders and pays individually… and it is always a fun experience!

Men’s Breakfast- Men, boys, and guests meet the first Saturday of each month at 7:00am (October –April) to enjoy a delicious breakfast and great fellowship. A guest speaker is provided at each gathering.

The Quilting Bee at RLC- This group meets the first and third Friday of each month from 10:00am-2:00pm. This group meets to quilt, share projects, ideas and fellowship. Anyone interested in quilting is invited to join.

Resurrection Singles- This group is open to all single men and women of RLC and their friends whether they are widowed, divorced, or have never been married. The group gathers once a month to have lunch and fellowship at local restaurants. The members take turns planning the event. Their motto is “We may be alone, but we don’t have to eat alone.”

Small Groups- We develop small groups with the vision of establishing true “close Christian community” in our Resurrection congregation. If you would be interested in opening your home for a Bible study and fellowship group or are interested in participation in a group.

Via de Cristo- Via de Cristo (Way of Christ) is a three-day learning, sharing and inspirational experience of living in a Christian community. The purpose of Via de Cristo is to help Christians learn how to be better followers of the way of Christ. It is a chance to strengthen and renew one’s faith in a Christian community atmosphere and a way of encouraging Christian action in the Church and the world.
