Fellowship

Fellowship Team

The Fellowship team is dedicated to a process of inspiring each person in the church to develop a circle of true spiritual and social support. In order to unite people of similar interests, gifts and life patterns, we offer smaller, more intimate events geared to stimulate friendships, as well as sponsoring church-wide events for intergenerational fellowship. The goals include holding major congregational events which include our Craft Fair and our Anniversary Dinner. Everyone is encouraged to share his or her talents and skills in this ministry!

Koinonia Groups

We develop Koinonia Groups with the vision of establishing true “close Christian community” in the neighborhoods of our RLC congregation. If you would be interested in opening your home for a neighborhood Bible study and fellowship group or are interested in participation in a group, please contact Curt Balko (575-9901 ext 314).

Via de Cristo

Via de Cristo (Way of Christ) is a three-day learning, sharing and inspirational experience of living in a Christian community. The purpose of Via de Cristo is to help Christians learn how to be better followers of the way of Christ. It is a chance to strengthen and renew one’s faith in a Christian community atmosphere and a way of encouraging Christian action in the Church and the world.

Ladies’ Monthly Luncheon Fellowship

This group has a vision to promote cohesiveness among the ladies of our congregation in a social setting. The goal is to offer ladies an opportunity to fellowship with other ladies and thereby share experiences and develop a small circle of Christian friends to rely on. Ladies of all ages are invited to join the group on the second Friday of each month for lunch. Reservations (via a sign up sheet in on the Activities Table) are requested and a different restaurant is chosen each month. Each person orders and pays individually…and it is always a fun experience!

Singles

The vision of the singles group is to provide support and encouragement to singles, united in fellowship with Jesus Christ. Alone we are but a single strand of thread; with God’s love, we join together to form a whole cloth. Toward the goals of fellowship, social and educational gatherings and outreach to the surrounding community, singles get together on the third Sunday of every month for fellowship, which often includes dinner and/or other activities/adventures (such as touring downtown). This group is open to all ages.

The Quilting Group at RLC

This group meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 10:00am-2:00pm. This group meets to quilt, share quilting projects, ideas and fellowship. Anyone interested in quilting is invited to join.
