Desert Psalm

This mural, created by the 2023/24 Confirmation class, visually represents the book of Psalms. For three months, the youth studied the Psalms and created images representing an individual Psalm they chose. Then, through the guidance of Angie Hitt, a local high school art teacher and muralist, the youth created a design for this mural that included elements of each of the youth's Psalms and insights from their studies. The Psalms were written as poetry, liturgical praise, and ways to express all of the human experience to our creator.
