Some families at Resurrection are examining opportunities to leave a legacy at RLC and other causes they believe in. Fortunately, our church is served by an expert in legacy planning: Lisa Higginbotham, Regional Gift Planner with the ELCA Foundation. You’ve probably seen Lisa in our services or on the campus. She’s the one with practical ideas and tools for legacy giving. And good news for us. Lisa will be here next month to continue conversations with RLC families about planned gifts in estates to benefit RLC and other ministries and causes important to them, AND Lisa will be available to chat with others at RLC who may be ready to think about their legacy. Lisa’s services on behalf of RLC are free. (Note: it’s tax time. Do you know that some types of legacy instruments may have significant tax deductions while providing a meaningful gift later?)
